Why don’t you offer group lessons for snowboarders until the kids are 7?
Because we want your kids to have fun! It’s a motor skill development issue: Snowboarding requires the use of fine motor skills vs. skiing, which requires gross motor skills. In one day, little dudes can usually be ripping down the green runs on skis, whereas on a snowboard, they’re likely still on the flats in the learning area. Little dudes CAN learn to snowboard, but it takes one-on-one coaching, a lot of patience on the part of the kids and realistic expectations from mom and dad. Plus, if you learn to ski first, it’s that much easier to pick up snowboarding later.
