Showdown - Kids Programs

* Programs start at 10 am and 1 pm promptly, late children are monitored at conveyor carpet until their group comes back.

* Particpants must have season pass or lift ticket attached to jacket.

* Particpants are supervised on all lift rides, but might not ride the chairlift with the supervisor.

* During YSL, Team Extreme, Freestyle, February 2 is a break weekend and there are no program sessions.

Kids’ Camp

$70

All skills, skiers age 5-13; snowboarders age 8-13 (Must have minimum of 6 snowboarders signed up)

This is a great “warm up” program before enrolling in our other programs. We encourage kids to participate in this program before the other 6 -8 week multi day youth programs start. Goal of this program is to have fun by progressing your child through three days of mountain adventures.

DAYS: Dec 27-28-29 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

TIMES: 10:00–12:00 and 1:00-3:00

Youth Ski League (YSL)

$90

All skills, skiers age 5-13 Snowboarders are not eligible for YSL, but check out our exciting Freestyle Team instead!

YSL will challenge your child to develop the skills necessary for advanced programs like Team Extreme and Freestyle. As participant’s skills progress, they are advanced to upper groups. Through team leadership, groups load, ride and unload lifts safely and ski the mountain responsibly. The goal of YSL is to establish an advanced class which will be invited to the advanced teams road trip to another mountain. The goal of lower level participants is to establish an increase in skier confidence. Don’t miss out on six weeks of Saturday fun on the snow!

Team Extreme

$120

The team focuses on fine-tuning skills and expanding into more difficult terrain. Faster-paced and goal oriented. This team will make your child a better skier by learning to hit bumps, moguls, tree glades and of course, powder.

- Participation includes a supervised road trip to another Montana ski area.

- For Advanced Skiers 7-13.

- Friendly skill demonstration required for first year participants.

- Age exceptions may be granted at discretion of supervisor.

Freestyle Team

$120

Freestyle Team focuses on fine-tuning snowboard and skiing skills with an emphasis on expanding into more difficult terrain, primarily experimenting with freestyle maneuvers. These maneuvers are applied to bumps, jumps, boxes, and rails in ALL NEW terrain park. Team supervisors will ensure freestyle skill development while enforcing Smart Style guidelines.

- Participants are welcome to enter any event free.

- Participation includes a supervised road trip to another Montana ski area.

- For advanced skiers 8-15 and all level snowboarders ages 11-15.

DAYS: Saturdays-Jan. 12,19,26 Feb. 9,16,23
