SHOWDOWN MONTANA | LITTLE BELT MOUNTAINS

lodging needs survey

Showdown Montana has been a gathering place for Central Montana families since 1936. For almost 90 years, it's been a place for families to recreate & have fun in the winter, and our mission has stayed the same: keep the mountains accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford to ski somewhere fancy. We've done that as a family, on this land & in this community, for generations. That's not changing.

We're exploring a big idea. We'd like to build a modest, affordable, 150-room lodge and conference center right here in the Little Belts, designed not just for skiing but for year-round use. Think family reunions, hunting & fishing basecamp, school trips, community gatherings & summer adventures.

A place like this doesn't just benefit Showdown. More overnight visitors means more support for local restaurants, shops & businesses across the region. A rising tide in the Little Belts lifts a lot of boats.

This is early-stage thinking, and your voice shapes what happens next. We're not here to build a resort. We're here to build something Central Montana can actually use, built with care for the land, the landscape & the people who call this place home.
